Getronics offers an extensive variety of computer-based training (CBT) opportunities through the Getronics Virtual University. However, for job-related training needs not available through GVU, the Training Assistance Plan is available to cover allowable training costs.
- Job Required Training is to learn skills required by the customer and/or company to fulfill the company’s responsibility to a customer. Since this is to improve or develop your skills in your area of responsibility, Getronics will pay up to 100% of all training costs including tuition, reasonable and necessary expenses (e.g., certification examination fees), and course-related materials, totalling up to $3,000.00 per year.
- Non-job related training refers to voluntary, job-related training that employees may request on their own initiative to increase job satisfaction and keep abreast of advances in their field of specialty. Getronics will pay up to $2,000.00 of such approved training per year.
